Hello Sydenham PS Families,
After a challenging few years of Covid, and an even more challenging year of Administration changes, I am very happy to share some exiting news for Sydenham Public School. Ms. Hilda Barrett has seamlessly joined our amazing SPS family over the past few months while filling in for Ms. Marshall. We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Barrett has recently been appointed VP for Sydenham PS for the upcoming 2023/24 school year. We are very excited to have Ms. Barrett continue her role at SPS, and I know her leadership and experience will continue to serve our students and community very well. Ms. Barrett and I will continue our team approach to administration moving forward, so please reach out to either of us at any time.
I am also excited to share that Ms. Sara Marshall will be returning in the Fall to Loughborough Public School. This is an exciting move for Ms. Marshall to begin a new chapter at a new school much closer to her home and family. We wish Ms. Marshall all the best in her new adventure. The students, staff and families are incredibly lucky to have her.
Ms. Barrett and I would like to thank all of you for your on-going support, patience and partnership over the past few months, and we look forward to a wonderful last few weeks together, and an exciting year ahead!
